During my recent city break in Granada, I had the delightful opportunity to stay at Casa del Aljarife, a beautifully restored 17th-century building nestled in the charming Albaicín neighborhood. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm hospitality of Damian, who shared a wealth of local knowledge and made us feel right at home. Our room, with its stunning views of the Alhambra, was a perfect blend of comfort and elegance, complete with premium bedding that made every night rejuvenating. The inner courtyard, lush with jasmine and citrus trees, was an inviting spot to unwind with a glass of wine after a day of exploration. Plus, the bar offered a nice selection of snacks and drinks at reasonable prices, making it easy to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The location was absolutely perfect, just a 15-minute stroll to the Alhambra and surrounded by quaint streets brimming with character. Being in the historic district, we were immersed in the beauty of Granada's past while enjoying modern comforts. I can’t wait to return to this hidden gem with some friends for a design-focused getaway!
